Two products of Special Interest for the military

It is above all two products - or weather-protection systems - that are of special interest for the military: System Gibson and Gibson Light.

Flexible modular systems create possibilities

Both System Gibson and Gibson Light are constructed in sections/modules. This means that the weather-protection systems can be customised for hangars, engineering tents, storage halls or food storage etc. - basically all types of protection for difficult weather conditions and for demanding environments. The weather-protection systems offer a dry and protected environment for activities that need to be carried out under cover.

Easily transportable, easy to assemble

All bearing structures in our hangars and our weather protection systems are made of aluminium. This makes our products easily transportable to their place of use. An important prerequisite when we were developing these weather-protection systems was they should fit into a container.

Thus no part of the structure is longer than 5 metres. For example, the Gibson Light weather-protection system/hangar fits into a 20-foot container. The weather protection system is also very easy to erect. Its smart design and the lightweight parts means that the hangar can be assembled by just four people - without the aid of machines or lifting equipment.

Stable structures last

All hangars and weather-protection systems are based on lightweight aluminium structures, and we use very high-quality fabrics. They are tried-and-tested materials that withstand heavy wear - in the event of both extreme weather conditions and demanding use. United Nations-approved hangars and shelters.

Our weather-protection systems and hangars are used by the Swedish peace-keeping forces, e.g. in Afghanistan, Bosnia, Sudan and the Outer Hebrides. Long-term field use has shown that the weather-protection systems easily meet all the possible conditions for these environments.
